Create your account, connect Stripe, add your first client, and complete your first job.

Open the App Store on your iPhone.

Search for "Lawnzy" and tap Download.

Tap "Sign in with Apple" on the welcome screen.

Your account is created. You can optionally set up a Passkey for faster future sign-ins.
You can also sign in with email and password if you prefer.

Connect your Stripe account

Go to Settings in the Lawnzy app.

Tap "Connect Stripe Account" to begin Stripe's onboarding.

Follow Stripe's onboarding steps — enter your bank information, verify your identity, and agree to terms.
Stripe is free to set up. You only pay when you get paid.

You'll see "Connected" in Settings when done. You're ready to accept card payments.

Add your first client

Tap the green + button in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Fill in the required fields:
- Client name (required)
- Street address including city, state, and zip code (required)
- Price per visit (required)
- Service type — e.g. mowing, edging, leaf cleanup
- Frequency — weekly, biweekly, monthly, or one-time
- Phone number — needed to send autopay invites via text
- Email — optional, needed for automatic receipts

Choose how to save:
Option A — Save & Send Autopay Invite
Saves the client and opens a pre-written SMS with a secure Stripe link. Requires phone number.
Option B — Save without inviting
For cash clients or if you want to send the autopay invite later from their profile.

Your new client appears on the Home screen and is ready for their first visit.

Complete your first job

Find the job under "Up Next" and tap "Job Done".

Review the amount. Tap "Charge Card" or "Cash" for in-person payments.

The job moves to "Done Today" with a receipt and timestamp.
If the client doesn't have a card on file yet, you'll be prompted to send an autopay invite or record a cash payment.
